Each year during our three-day festival, we host and feature authors at various events and venues around our community. Please see the schedule of events tab. The 2020 Festival runs from Thursday, February 13 through Saturday, February 15.

 

The most prominent way authors may take part in the festival is through our Author Expo/Readers' Extravaganza set for Saturday, February 15. 

 

Registration to be an exhibitor opens on July 15 and closes October 31, 2019.  In addition, we invite those authors who write for children and young adults to consider applying for consideration as an Authors in Schools presenter set for Friday, February 14, 2020. We urge all applicants to read the instructions carefully and adhere to our requirements. An Authors in Schools presenter MUST be available for the entire day, and present to as many students, sessions or classes as the school may require during the hours of 9 am to 3 pm. 

During the Expo, you'll have opportunities to engage with readers in an up-close and personal way to showcase and sell your books. Activities, breakout presentations, incentives, prizes and other attractions—such as the Passport to Literacy—are designed to keep visitors coming to and circulating around exhibits throughout the day.
