Jane R. Wood is the author of five award-winning juvenile fiction books in which she weaves history and science into stories of mystery, adventure, and humor for young readers, ages 8–14. Wood is a former teacher, newspaper reporter, and television producer. She has a BA from the University of Florida and an MEd from the University of North Florida and is often asked to speak at book festivals, writer and publisher workshops and webinars, and education conferences.
