Ann Colby has been a resident of Florida since 1960. she grew up in Orlando and received her Bachelor's Degree in religion in 1973 and her Juris Doctorate in 1976 from the University of Florida. after serving for 42 years as local government counsel for the City of Orlando and Seminole County, she retired in 2016 and began the research for Wicked St. Augustine, which was published in 2020. the book is now a required text in the History Department at Flagler College and was used as the research source by the City of St. Augustine for its historical preservation study of West Augustine. Ms. Colby now spends her time teaching, lecturing and doing nightly Wicked tours in St. Augustine for Spyglass Travel.
