The Amelia Island Book Festival’s Author Expo brings authors and readers together for a day celebrating books, storytelling, and our literary community. The 2027 Author Expo will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2027.

 

Authors interested in participating must submit an application, pay the application fee, and mail one copy of their featured book. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as space is limited, and a waiting list will be created once available spaces are filled.

Important Information:

• Featured books must arrive no later than November 15, 2026.

• Acceptance decisions will be sent by email by December 1, 2026.

• Authors who are not accepted will receive a refund of the application fee.

• Accepted authors may cancel for a full refund through January 15, 2027. After that date, application fees are nonrefundable.

• The festival cannot provide honoraria or reimburse travel or accommodation expenses.

• Participating authors are expected to help promote their appearance at the festival.
