IT consultant and Pan Am veteran LM Reynolds pens suspense thrillers born of an ongoing interest in international intrigue. Often inspired by actual incidents, her extensively researched yarns tell of long-held secrets and their influence on the present.

Her award-winning debut novel Spies in Our Midst employed the harrowing setting of the Iranian revolution. The back story of its sequel, Spies We Know, was centered in India during the Cold War. One Deliberate Act, the third novel in the Cat Powell series, is staged during the Yugoslav Wars of the early nineties. One Deliberate Act was applauded by Kirkus Reviews (“A stellar cast gives this spy thriller gusto and panache”) and selected for their “36 Great Indie Books Worth Discovering” feature in 2023.

An inveterate traveler, Ms. Reynolds has visited over 130 countries on six continents and continues to seek adventure and inspiration in new destinations. She currently resides in Florida, while still frequenting favorite haunts on Boston’s North Shore.
