Muriel Pritchett
Book Title:
Rotten Bananas and the Emerald Dream
Author Bio:
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Muriel Pritchett received three degrees in writing from the University of Georgia. She has lived in Japan and Germany, and loves to travel -- especially on cruise ships -- all over the world. After retiring from a career in journalism and communications, she started writing fiction and is now the author of the Feisty Women's Fiction book series, plus one young adult paranormal and one middle grade adventure book. Her mystery, Rotten Bananas and the Emerald Dream, is her favorite book. It's about three women living in the "perfect" retirement community who decide to go on a Caribbean cruise to get a little excitement in their "perfect" lives. During their cruise, they befriend a stowaway, meet a hunky spy, stumble across smugglers, cross paths with an assassin, and get kidnapped. Muriel, an award-winning writer, is a member of Southeastern Writers Association and the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. She and her retired-Navy husband are chocoholics and Disney-holics, who have visited many Disney parks over the years, including Disneyland Tokyo, DisneySeas, Disneyland Paris, Disney World, California Adventure, and Disneyland in Anaheim. When not working on her next book, Muriel loves to draw, paint with watercolors, and make Japanese paper dolls.
