Truth Smilez also known as Taneka Register was born and raised in Valdosta, Ga. She was blessed to be raised by her grandmother with her siblings and cousin. She is the mother of two brilliant children. Truth developed a love for writing after she quickly realized she could channel what she felt into words. Writing would become an outlet for Truth in times when she felt she couldn’t speak on the things that troubled her. In her adult years she wanted to encourage children to read and write so she began publishing children's books.
