Adele Holmes is a trailblazing author who pivoted from her successful career as a pediatrician to offer change to the world through her writing. While she loved her medical practice, a serious travel bug, a need to put the voice of her soul onto paper, and a call to give back to the community enticed her into a different direction. After a few years of scribbling, she put her medical experience, her anguish over the socio-political system in the USA, and her passion for social justice to paper, and her debut novel, Winter’s Reckoning, a southern gothic, was born. It immediately began winning awards, and she knew her second career had emerged.
