Brian Braden, a two-time attendee of the Amelia Island Book Festival, is a veteran pursuing his dream of writing and photography. Brian has published numerous articles in the Air Force Times, Military Times, The Air Power Journal, and Oxford University Press. He has published four novels, to include the epic fantasy “Black Sea Gods”, which was a semi-finalist for 2013 Kindle Novel of the Year. His awards for fiction include the Alabama Penman Award and The Darron L. Wright Award for Military Fiction. He recently released an audiobook version of his novel “The Golden Princess,” which was a semifinalist for InD’Tale Magazine’s Audiobook of the Year.

An award-winning photographer, Brian’s first non-fiction book is an odyssey-in-images called “Abandon Wiregrass: The Deepest South’s Lost and Forgotten Places.” It is now available from America Through Time, an imprint of Arcadia Publishing. He is his creating his next photography book from the back of a Harley Davidson as he retraces the paths of some of Deep South’s earliest pioneers. Brian’s next epic fantasy novel, “The Time Of The Spear” will be published in 2024.
