SHELTER FROM THE STORM

Author Bio:

After teaching high school English for 35 years in the Duval County School System, Dorothy Fletcher began her writing career in earnest. She began by writing a monthly column for the FLORIDA TIMES-UNION called "By the Wayside." This led to her writing six history books about Jacksonville, Florida, for The History Press, the first of which won recognition from the City of Jacksonville. She also has written two additional novels, one of which is SHELTER FROM THE STORM, published by Taylor & Seale Publishing, and she is working on an historical novel about Fort Caroline. She and her husband Hardy live on the Southside of Jacksonville near their children and grandchildren and when they can, they travel.
