Librarian, anthropologist, Congressional aide, speechwriter, nonprofit director—M. S. Spencer holds degrees in Anthropology, Middle East Studies, and Library Science and has lived or traveled in five of the seven continents. She has published fifteen romantic suspense and mystery novels and divides her time between the Gulf Coast of Florida and a tiny village in Maine.

This will be her fourth time participating in AIBF, and now that the plague is behind us, she is looking forward to reconnecting with authors and readers. She will be showcasing her latest mystery, Hidden Gem: the Secret of St. Augustine. Hidden Gem features an eccentric crossword puzzle writer and the owner of an antique map store who are drawn into the search for a key hidden fifty years before—a key which is the subject of a nationwide treasure hunt of such intensity that the searchers are willing to kill for the answers.

Spencer will also have her other books, including Flotsam & Jetsam: the Amelia Island Affair, on hand.
