Nancy Raines Day’s newest picture books are Applesauce is Fun to Wear and Baby’s Opposites. Her first book, The Lion’s Whiskers, was a New York Times notable picture book of 1995. Her other books include Pirate Jack Gets Dressed, Way Down Below Deep, and On a Windy Night. She lives with her husband on St. Simons Island in Georgia.
