"Dancing Through the Maze" is a story of a young teenage boy growing up in Brooklyn, New York, with a dream: to be free like a raptor and soar high above city streets, racing with the wind. But when you are caught up in a Maze, finding your way out becomes a challenge, and any dreams you might have, slowly diminish. A devastating injury to his left eye seemed to punctuate a finality to his dream.
High school was a chore, and the Maze became more complicated. He languished in meaningless jobs, walking never-ending blind corridors, until at one junction there was a mysterious encounter that changed his life forever.

Bill Leonardi grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Overcoming a number of setbacks and a serious injury to his eye, Bill made it into the cockpit. He became a Navy pilot and flew missions in Viet Nam, before ultimately becoming a Captain with a major international airline. In retirement he studied art, and many of his painting have sold in galleries in Warwick, New York, and Ridgefield, New Jersey. "Dancing Through the Maze" is his first book. He has written many short stories and is working on a mystery novel.
